The Somerset County FA Education programme provides comprehensive curriculum and out of curriculum initiatives to support and develop young people, teachers and local Charter Standard Clubs.
As part of the 2007-2012 National Game Strategy, football in Education will play a key role in increasing participation and raising standards at a local level as well providing a skilled workforce to deliver football in schools.
Somerset County FA have invested in the delivery of the following initiatives which are available to all schools within Somerset
- School to Club Links
- Junior Football Organisers Course
- Continued Professional Development for Teachers
