All Referees wishing to be considered for promotion must convey their request in writing to the Referees Development Officer before 1st March.
All promotion candidates will be expected to meet the following criteria:-
- to attend a continuation training evening
- to keep the County Assessor’s Co-ordinator informed of all their fixtures
- to referee a minimum of twenty games in adult football during the promotion season
- respond in writing to all correspondence
- receive a minimum of three assessments during the promotion season
For Eligibility to Level 5
Referees must:-
- have the above criteria
- have completed 5 games as an Assistant Referee (in the current season)
For Eligibility to Level 4
Referees must:
- have all the above criteria
- have passed a fitness test
