Somerset FA is committed to ensuring that all football is inclusive and as stated within the vision of the organisation, we are continually striving towards our goal of ‘Football for All’. As a result we are currently working towards the Foundation Level of the Equality Standard for Sport accreditation and to become instrumental within the South West to drive this important work forward.
As part of this work to develop our organisation, we will be working over the coming months to achieve the following outcomes:

- Somerset Football Association has a policy for equality that has been communicated and understood by staff and key volunteers
- Somerset Football Association is aware of its current profile and position in terms of equality
It is important for the future development of the organisation to achieve these outcomes and this will require hard work and dedication from all members of staff from the Board of Directors to County FA staff and including key partners and individuals, and feedback from everyone will play a major role in ensuring this accreditation is achieved. We feel confident this work will benefit the organisation and engage with everyone involved from staff, to volunteers, coaches and officials.
