Stuart Pearce’s Under-21 side will begin their preparations for their crunch European Championship qualifiers later this year, with a friendly international against Uzbekistan at Bristol City’s Ashton Gate Stadium.
The Young Lions will take on the Uzbeks on Tuesday 10 August (kick-off 7.30pm) and are hoping for big support at a venue they are well used to.
England Under-21 Head Coach, Pearce, said of a welcome trip to Ashton Gate: “It's early in the season but when we were in Bristol last time it was near enough a full stadium which was fantastic. It's one of those places that we get great support and we're hoping for the same again.
