Somerset Football Association is looking to appoint a GK Coach to support the Girls Advanced Coaching Centre. The aim of the post is to deliver practical football sessions in line with the Girls’ Advanced Coaching Centre technical programme.

Salary: £40 per session (6pm – 9pm) for 16 weeks

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated coach who can work with talented female players with a focus to develop, support and create a fantastic learning environment. The Coach will need to be a minimum GK Level 2, be a member of the FA Licensed Coaches Club and have up to date Safeguarding and Emergency Aid qualifications in place (or can ensure these are up to date before the start date).

The role encompasses the following areas:
• The safeguarding and welfare of players within their designated age group
• Providing high quality coaching and support
• Delivering a training and technical programme in line with LTPD guidelines
• Individual player development

You need to be passionate about and committed to coaching, and the development of players within a talent pathway. Somerset FA takes the safeguarding and protection of children seriously and the person appointed to this role will be required to follow the County FA Safeguarding policy, sign a Safeguarding Code of Conduct and
attend additional County FA safeguarding training.

Due to the nature of this post, the successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check through The FA CRC process (if not already in place).
