Somerset FA are delighted to partner with DirtyDog Eyewear to bring high-quality discounted sports googles to the county!
This partnership which we fostered with assistance from the Taunton Youth League, will enable participants within affiliated football in Somerset to access glasses with prescription lenses which are safe to play or officiate football in at a discounted rate.
With safe sports googles often costing up to £200 per pair, this presents a significant burden on families with children in need of prescription lenses and indeed older players or referees too. It is unsafe to wear 'normal' glasses when playing or officiating football and other sports owing to the materials that glasses are usually made out of and the risk of them breaking or shattering.
Our partnership allows football participants in Somerset to purchase the DirtyDog Curl II with single vision prescription lenses in either a clear or tinted finish for just £80 plus £5.50 postage. Please note that polarised and mirrored lenses will incur extra charges.
The DirtyDog Curl II features an around-the-head strap to keep them in place through physical activity and polycabonate lenses which are completely shatterproof.
NOTE: These are suitable for players 11/12 years and upwards due to the size of the goggles.
Somerset FA have been searching for the right partner to deliver a safe and affordable product for some time, and the entire team are very excited about this deal that we can exclusively bring to our football participants.
Anyone interested in finding out more or ordering a pair of Curl II sports googles should contact us at Somerset FA to find out more.
