Somerset Football Association is looking to ENGAGE a Coach to support the Girls Advanced Coaching Centre. The aim of the post is to deliver practical football sessions in line with the Girls’ Advanced Coaching Centre technical programme.
Salary: £28 per session (to be based on experience) 1.5 hour session per week for 25 weeks

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated coach who can work with talented female players with a focus to develop, support and create a fantastic learning environment. The Coach will need to be a minimum Level 2, be a member of the FA Licensed Coaches Club and have up to date Safeguarding and Emergency Aid qualifications in place.
The role encompasses the following areas:
• The safeguarding and welfare of players within their designated age group
• Providing high quality coaching and support
• Delivering a training and games programme in line with LTPD guidelines
• Individual player development
You need to be passionate about and committed to coaching, and the development of players within a talent pathway. You will have an understanding and commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
Somerset FA takes the safeguarding and protection of children seriously and the person engaged to this role will be equally passionate in the safeguarding of children and young people and vulnerable adults. You will be required to follow the County FA Safeguarding policy, sign a Safeguarding Code of Conduct and attend additional County FA safeguarding training. Due to the nature of this post, the successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check through The FA CRC process.
