Somerset FA is delighted to confirm Registration for the Emerging Talent Centre Trials are now OPEN.  The Emerging Talent Centre provides talented young female players throughout Somerset and its surrounding areas with weekly additional training and fixtures, whist still playing for their club to compliment their football opportunities.

The FA Emerging Talent Centre is one of the pinnacles of playing opportunities for talented players in the area and offers a direct opportunity to support striving players to progress into the FA Women's England Talent Pathway.  The aim of the programme is to develop players holistically to meet their potential, with our ultimate goal in producing elite female players to represent England.  Somerset FA's female player pathway has supported a number of female players in the last several years that have gone onto Represent England in youth age groups.
 
The Emerging Talent Centre provides girls aged between 8 - 16 years of age, with a season long programme (once a week) with a minimum of 6 fixtures to support the development of the talented female footballers in Somerset and the surrounding areas.  

It provides high quality coaching from FA Qualified UEFA B Licensed & Level 2 Coaches, Strength and Conditioning support from a qualified practitioner, weekly access to a physio to support injury prevention and rehabilitation and game analysis opportunities to support player reflection.
