County Grants
New Team Fund
Somerset FA has a limited number of grants available to support the creation of NEW teams for season 2023/2024. The grant will cover all age groups and all formats of football in the county.
Grants of up to £150 will be available to those clubs/teams that are successful.
SFA will consider applications for new teams in the following categories:
• Mini Soccer (U7's-10s)
• Youth male & female teams (U11-18s)
• Adult male & female teams (including Over 35's teams/Walking Football teams)
• Male & female disability teams (Youth and Adult)

Maintenance Fund
Somerset FA are inviting clubs from all around the County to submit an application form which could give them the opportunity to apply for materials or equipment which could help improve their facilities. Clubs can access up to £350 through this fund.
Funding can be potentially provided for items such as:
- Paint for re-decoration of club
- Replacement goal nets
- Line marker (if you are applying for this funding &/or pitch paint please visit www.thepitchmarkgroup.com for discounted rates)
- Improve dug outs
- Tea hut refurbishment
- Maintenance on ground
- Kitchen refurbishment
- Providing safety measures to club facility
