Schools FA
The Somerset County Schools FA, on behalf of the English schools FA oversees the development of schools football in Somerset. The SCSFA organise cup competitions within schools and provide a platform for regional and county representative teams to play fixtures.
Affiliating to Somerset Schools FA your school will have the opportunity to participate in one of our 9 cups ranging from U12- U19 boys and girls
or as part of our inclusive schools league. We are always looking at expanding and increasing participation season upon season. Also by affiliating your pupils are eligible to trial for the district sides and the county sides.
The success of the SCSFA and ESFA providing football in schools saw many school players go on to play for professional clubs and even make their full England international debut. These are players such as Preston North End center back Jordan Storey, England international Aston Villa defender Tyrone Mings, Scotland U21's Captain and Bristol City striker Tommy Conway and Chelsea Women, England U17 international Brooke Aspin.
